1 Level of Accessibility and the Standard

The site has been made accessible in accordance with the Israeli Standard IS 5568, based on the international accessibility guidelines WCAG 2.0 at level AA — the level of accessibility required by law. We continually improve the site's accessibility.

2 Accessibility Adjustments on the Site

Among the adjustments implemented on the site:

  • Semantic page structure and screen-reader support, including alternative text (alt) for content images.
  • Full keyboard navigation of the main interactive components (property cards, modal windows, galleries).
  • Modal windows marked as dialogs, with focus management and closing via the Escape key.
  • Accessible names (aria-label) for buttons and controls not accompanied by visible text.
  • Support for right-to-left (RTL) directionality and the Hebrew language.
  • Respecting the user's preference for reduced motion (prefers-reduced-motion).
  • Colour contrast and interface elements that are clear to read.

3 Recommendations for Accessible Use

It is recommended to browse using an up-to-date browser. You may use the accessibility tools built into your operating system and browser (text enlargement, increased contrast, screen reading) for a personally tailored experience.

4 Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible: interactive maps in the catalogue, in property cards and in building cards — including the "how long does it take to get there" travel-time widget — are not yet fully accessible to keyboard navigation and screen readers; the floor-plan board (unit "placement" diagram) does not currently have a full text alternative; the Walz AI chat and the voice assistant have not yet been fully tested against screen readers and do not yet have a full text alternative for every scenario; and content supplied by third parties (such as the YouTube player) is not fully within Walz's control regarding its accessibility. For these components we will gladly provide the information via an accessible alternative channel (phone or email) to any inquirer. We continue to fix and improve, and welcome reports so we can respond quickly.
