Terms of Sale and Cancellation Policy

These Terms govern the online purchase of advertising plans, subscriptions and promotional services on Walz (the "Plans"), and form an integral part of the Site Terms of Use. These Terms apply to every Plan order and are available at any time on this page and via the link on the Plans page. The protective provisions of the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, apply to a "consumer" as defined in the law; some of them do not apply to a business purchase.

1 What Is Purchased
- The Plans grant the right to use advertising services: a number of active listings per the plan, for the chosen period, and accompanying benefits detailed on the purchase page.
- The binding details of each plan — content, price, period and renewal terms — are those presented on the purchase screen at the time the order is placed.
- The Plans are advertising services only; they do not confer brokerage services and are not conditional on the success of a transaction. Walz is not a party to transactions between Advertisers and interested parties.
2 Prices, VAT and Billing
- Prices are stated in New Israeli Shekels and do not include VAT, unless expressly stated otherwise; VAT will be added to the charge at the statutory rate.
- A purchase for a period of several months will be charged in advance at the total price displayed.
- Placing an order does not require a credit card and does not charge you: the order goes to Walz for approval, and payment is arranged with you separately. Non-payment or an unwarranted chargeback may lead to suspension of a listing or an account.
- The Seller may update prices; an update will not apply retroactively to a period already paid for.
3 Automatic Renewal
- Where a plan is defined as auto-renewing, this will be displayed explicitly on the purchase screen before confirmation, including the renewal frequency and price.
- An auto-renewing plan will renew until cancelled as set out in Section 5, and billing will occur at the start of each period.
4 Cancellation — Distance-Selling Transaction (14 Days)
- A consumer may cancel a distance-selling transaction within 14 days of the date the transaction was made or of receiving the transaction-details document, whichever is later.
- For special populations (a person with a disability, a senior citizen, a new immigrant) — up to four months, provided the arrangement included a conversation.
- Cancellation shall be made by notice as set out in Section 6.
5 Cancellation of a Continuing Transaction — At Any Time
- An auto-renewing plan is a "continuing transaction"; a consumer may cancel it at any time.
- Cancelling the plan is immediate and takes one click from the account area (the "Cancel Plan" button) — there is no decision to wait for; the plan and listings continue as usual until the end of the period paid for, after which the plan simply will not renew.
- Cancelling via the one-click button stops the next charge at that same moment; cancelling by any other method (including by email) takes effect within three business days of receiving the request.
- The service will continue until the end of the period paid for, unless you have requested otherwise.
6 Refunds, Cancellation Fees and Methods of Cancellation
- Cancellation within 14 days (distance selling): we will refund the payment within 14 days of receiving the notice, less the proportionate part of the service already provided, and less a cancellation fee of 5% of the transaction price or ₪100 — whichever is lower. For cancellation due to a defect or non-conformity — no cancellation fee.
- Cancellation of a continuing transaction after 14 days: future charges will stop as set out in Section 5; a payment made in advance for a period not yet used will be refunded proportionately to the extent required by law.
- Methods of cancellation: immediate, one-click cancellation from the account area (the "Cancel Plan" button); or email to [email protected] (please state your name, the account's phone number and the transaction number) and we will handle it promptly.
7 Receipts and Invoices
- A receipt will be sent to the account's email address for every payment.
- A lawful tax invoice/receipt will be issued and sent in accordance with bookkeeping requirements, including an allocation number for business purchases required to obtain one under the "Israel Invoices" e-invoicing framework.
8 Provision and Termination of the Service
- The plan is activated immediately upon confirmation of payment; actual publication of a listing is subject to an administrator review as detailed in the Site Terms of Use.
- Removal of a listing due to a breach of these Terms or of law does not entitle you to a refund for the period already used.
- If we discontinue the service on our own initiative and not due to a breach on your part, we will refund the proportionate part paid for the period not provided.
9 General Provisions
- The transaction-details document presented on the purchase screen and in the receipt shall prevail, in the event of any conflict, over general marketing descriptions.
- Nothing in these Terms shall derogate from the mandatory provisions of the Consumer Protection Law.
- The provisions of the Site Terms of Use regarding limitation of liability, indemnification and amendments also apply to these Terms, with the necessary changes.
10 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
- These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Israel; exclusive jurisdiction is vested in the competent courts of the Tel Aviv–Jaffa district.
