Эль-Аль House: Israel's First Office Tower
When it was inaugurated in 1963 on Бен-Йехуда Street, Эль-Аль House was the tallest building in Israel and the first office tower erected in the country.
The building of approximately 13 storeys, rising to a height of approximately 53 metres, was designed by a team of architects Дов Карми, Цви Малцер and Рам Карми in a distinctly brutalist language. It was built between 1959 and 1963 on the plot of the old "Beit HaAm" cinema, and the Эль-Аль airline offices that occupied it at the beginning of its history gave it its name.

Until the inauguration of Башня Шалом Меир in 1965, Эль-Аль House held the title of tallest building in Israel. It is considered a pioneer that heralded the era of office towers in Tel Aviv, and is situated within walking distance of the coastline and the city centre.
