Альров Tower: A Tower Built Around an Embassy
Альров Tower on Shdl Street, 23 storeys and approximately 93 metres high, was built whilst preserving a former Soviet embassy building on Ротшильд Boulevard.
Developer Альфред Акиров acquired the embassy plot in 1990, and construction of the tower — designed by architects Авраам Иски and Йосси Сион — began in 1992 and was completed towards the end of the decade. The tower was occupied in 1999 and includes an underground car park of six levels.
Over the years, the tower housed investment houses and international financial bodies, at the heart of the business complex of Ротшильд Boulevard.
