London Ministore: mixed-use complex from 1972

At the corner of Shaul HaMelech Boulevard and Ibn Gabirol Street stands London Ministore, one of Tel Aviv's earliest and most iconic mixed-use complexes.

The centre opened to the public in November 1972 and was designed by architects Benjamin Idelson, Jacob Hertz and Gershon Tzafir, occupying the ground floor and basement of 'Beit Naot Aviv'. Above the retail spaces stretch two floors of offices.

Over the years, the complex has hosted prominent cultural institutions, including Tzavta Club and the Bat-Dor Dance Company's centre. Today it houses a WeWork shared workspace, alongside shops and restaurants.

01Culture and commerce under one roof

A complex blending culture, commerce and offices in the heart of the city — before 'mixed-use' became a buzzword.
