Museum Tower: The most expensive land in Israel
Beside the Tel Aviv Museum of Art and the Hall of Justice stands a tower whose land was sold at a price considered the highest in Israel relative to its size.
Museum Tower, completed in 2005 to designs by architect Tzvi Gavai, rises to approximately 89 metres across approximately 24 floors and contains about 21,000 m² of office space. Its name derives from its proximity to the Tel Aviv Museum of Art.

The land on which the tower stands was originally intended for a courthouse. After the plan was cancelled, the plot was sold to Migdal Insurance company for approximately $50 million — a sum considered the highest ever paid in Israel for a plot relative to its size. The price reflected its exceptional location: at the corner of Weizmann and Shaul HaMelech streets, adjacent to the Hall of Justice and a large concentration of law offices.
