ToHa: The Iceberg That Conquered the Skyline
ToHa (Totzeret HaAretz, meaning "Made in Israel"), designed by designer Ron Arad and architect Avner Yashar, has become one of Tel Aviv's most recognisable buildings since its completion in 2019.
The approximately 29-storey tower stands at the intersection of Shalom and Igal Alon streets, near Shalom Train Station, and its striking form — resembling a floating ice floe or chunk of ice — has sparked considerable discussion amongst planners. The project was initiated by investment companies Imot and Gvim.

The tower was designed according to green building principles, including shading systems, nocturnal ventilation and water and energy-saving systems. Phase Two of the complex, a significantly taller tower, has become one of Israel's most prominent skyscrapers.

In May 2021, ToHa was crowned "the world's best office building" by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat.
