On Hasivim Street 49, in the Ramat Siv industrial-business cluster—also known by its older name Kiryat Matalon, an industrial-business concentration that serves as headquarters for large companies—sits the headquarters of the Strauss Group, Israel's largest food and beverage corporation behind brands such as Elite, Sabra and Strauss Water.
The group leased, and essentially purchased, the building in 2006 and relocated its management from Ramat Gan—a move that brought approximately 450 employees to the area.
